They are currently The school year continues to narrow down with only 11 weeks remaining. For seniors it's the final stretch before graduation. But for juniors, sophomores, and freshmen, it's really just the beginning. Speaking of seniors, they attended the annual Career Day at Henderson County Junior College last Friday. Coach W.L. Holt and his 1976 track team will compete in the West Rusk Relays this Friday for the first track meet of the season The yearbook staff faces yet another deadline. They are required to send in 70 more pages of the 76 Tiger. The staff met their first deadline in January by sending off 50 working on the junior high section, activities and organi- zations, and the volleyball and basketball sections. Any- one who wishes to purchase a yearbook may do so until Friday, March 26, for $7.50. They may be purchased for $8.50 next fall. Well, none other than Betsy Pierce, a student at Malakoff High School. Betsy is a 15 year old sophomore at Malakoff High School. Besides being an out- standing student she is also a majorette. Betsy has been in the band for five years and has been a majorette for five years. She is enrolled in such subjects as: Geometry, Biol- ogy, Homemaking, and English II. She noted that Homemaking was her fa- Betsy takes part in many activities. She is a member of the Drama Club, Student Council, F.H.A., and Band. She also is the sophomore class treasurer and often appears on the "B" honor roll. Betsy plans to attend Hen- demon County Junior College upon graduation from high school. When asked how she feels about Malakoff, she said "I love it and hope I never have to move." She has .lived in Malakoff for 13 years. She has been a student at Mala- sewing. Back Kotter.
