Hampton of Malakoff, entered the United States Air Force Delayed Enlistment Program on April 25, 1961, according the Sergeant Bryan Townley, the Air Force Recruiter in Corsicana. Airman Weldon selected the Aircraft Fuels Systems area for job training and will attend a six week Basic Training Course at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas, beginning on Nov. 13, 1981.
