"I'FXAS P()WER & IJ(;HT COMPANY Kari Michelle Morrison of Balch Springs became the bride of Walter David Haselden, of Dallas, Friday night, May 6, at the Mimosa Lane Bap- tist Church in a double ring, candlelight service. Brother Bill Foil officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. June W. Morrison of Balch Springs and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd C. Haselden of Garland and Connie Haselden of Carrolton. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hustead and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ancil Morrison all of Malakoff. Her father and mother were both raised in Malakoff. The church was decorated with a white archway with a Boston Fern and a spiral candelabra on either side. Blue and white bouquets served as pew markers. The music, sung and played by Julie Polk, included, "Let it be Me," "You and I," "There is Love," and "The Lord's Prayer." The bride wore a gown of while illusion over satin. It featured a cameo neckline and a cape-like ruffle edged with chantilly lace. The chapel length train was also bordered with a ruffle of ehantilly lace. The bride wore a veil of fingertip length adorned with seed pearls, She carried a bouquet of cascading white roses, light blue carnations and dark blue miniature roses trailing with white lace and light blue ribbons tied with love knots. The maid of honor was Teri Mullins of Mesquite and the bridesmaid was Kim Morrison, sister of the bride, of Balch Springs. They wore light blue floor length dresses with an off-the-shoulder three tier ruffle with a sheer light blue lace yoke gathered at the neck with a single ruffle. They carried a light blue rose and bud with a green flock and white baby's breath. The best man was Scott Horton of Mesquite and the groomsman was Ed- die Castillo of Dallas. The ushers were Mike Haselden, brother of the groom, of Dallas and Tim Haselden, brother of the groom, of Dallas. The flower girl for the ceremony was Molly Lon Gessman of Balch Springs and candlelighters were Bret Morrison, brother of the bride, of Balch Springs and Bruce Haselden, brother of the groom, of Garland.
