Isn't it great when school
organizations can work
together? Much of the equip-
ment used for our school
carnival was loaned to us by
the Band Club. It gave our
carnival a big lift, and we
appreciate the generousity of
PTO checkbo0k: the Band Club.
Main dlsciJsgi0n Centered Future money raising'
around our summer project--
putting the auditorium in the
old elementary school in good
order so the students, under
the direction of Mrs. Brown
and Mrs. King, will have a
place to present their
programs each month. The
PTO committeed $1,000
toward the removal of the
present partition, installation
of folding doors, possible new
light fixtures, and or time on
any work we can do, such as
painting and cleaning up.
This is a joint project between
the School District and the

just prior to school opening,
the sale of notebooks, pens
and pencils bearing the
Malakoff Tiger. These will be
of good quality and
comparatively priced with
those sold in stores.
The PTO, to be a success,
needs you. Come out in
September to the first
