James Jacobs of- ficiating. Burial followed at Payne Springs Cemetery under the di- rection of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank. Mrs. Causey died July 4, 2006 in Athens. She was born September 7, 1915 in Brunswick, GA. Mrs. Causey was a home- maker. Previously of Denton, she lived in Mabank since 1983. She was of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Charles Causey in 1986. Survivors include her daugh- ter, Tina Smith and husband Bill of Mabank; grandchildren, Sherry Yvonne Hummel Minot of ND; Susan Marie Stewart of Oak Point and Dennis Wayne Smith of Denton; great grandchildren, Chris Smith, Jor- dan Smith, McKenna Smith, Josh Hummel, and Men[ca Havgen; three great great grandchildren; sisters, Bertha Cason of Brunswick, GA; Dor- othy Waiters of Brunswick, GA; Maude Murray of Wood- bine, GA; Geneva Gay of Kingsland, GA; Mary GLrtman Bunswick, GA and Barbara Wallace of Tampa, FL; brother, Robert Kennison of Kingsland, FL and a host of nieces, neph- ews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Birdsong in 1999. Survivors include her sons, Johnny Perry Birdsong of Dal- las and Jimmy Ray Birdsong and wife Joyce of Naples; brother, Jim York of Eustace; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Hugh Warren Browne Hugh Warren Browne, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2006, in Stafford, Texas. He was a busy man who was always in a hurry. He is preceded in death by his wife Bertie Anderton, brothers, John Anderton, John Henry Anderton, Kenly and Robert Anderton and a sister, Vicie Hooper.
