2A--q118e MshlkMf News, Thursdsy, July 16, I~I ON by Barry McWilliarns M Our Chad and ll-year-old Ricky Stan- field took off for the Dairy Queen one recent Sunday afternoon. They planned to have ice cream and cold drink and to play one of those quarter-fed machines for awhile. Soon after they left we realized that we would have to leave town for a short while and needed Chad to return home. We drove to the Dairy Queen to direct the two boys hack in a homeward direc- tion. / They were on their bicycles. We (parents of the boys) have a standing rule that they are to take the hack alleyway to get to the business so they are not on Hwy. 31 on their bikes. Chad popped a wheelie and took off with Ricky close behind. There is a steep incline leaving the Dairy Queen parking lot into the alley. The boys love to jump from the top of that incline into the alley on their bikes. They look like minature Evil Knievels.
