Our residents are planning a Christmas Bazaar to be held sometime in late November or early December We are in need of volunteers to help teach us and help us with any kind of crafts we can make Mr. and Mrs. Herman Teetz were visited Sunday by their son, Tom, his wife Doris from Rockdale and their daughter Betty and son-in-law, Gene Dunn from Mesquite Last Friday, Mrs Sherman's sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Buck Whitworth from Houston visited. They all went out to a restaurant for lunch and for a short visit with their only brother, Charles D. Rozell and his wife, Thelma. Lawrence Fuller enjoyed Don Norwood Wins Gold Don Norwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Norwood of Star Harbor, earned two gold medals in the YMCA Swim Meet at the East Dallas YMCA, July 16 Norwood took first places in the 50 yard back stroke and the 100 yard free style. He also won a silver medal for second place in the 100 yard I.M., and a bronze medal for third place in the 50 yard free style event. Michael Hoyt, another member of the Henderson County YMCA team, won a second place in the 25 yard breast stroke for a silver medal, and a bronze medal and third place in the 25 yard backstroke event. Twelve teams participated in the East Dallas meet. Henderson County took 10th place County team members who participated in the meet were Don Norwood, Michael Hoyt, Brenda Hoyt, Dana Taylor, and Chris Bomberger.
