lowing the conclusion of the
regular program and refresh-
ments, the Computer Interest
Group of the East Texas Ge-
nealogical Society will meet with
Beverly Bailey Odom will lead
a round table discussion on "Ba-
sic Computer Tasks."
At 10 a.m. that morning
ETGS will also sponsor a "Jun-
ior Genealogy Class" featuring
Frances Grochowski. She will
present a program called "Who
Are Grandma and Grandpa?"
The class will meet on the 2nd
Saturday for 5 months. It will
introduce the participants to the
basics in genealogy research in-
cluding preparing family trees
and charts, research in librar-
ies, and on the interact. The
class is open to children ages
from 9 to 13. Boy and Girl
Scouts are encouraged to at-
tend because this program
will fulfill the requirements of
several badges. The class will
be limited to first 15 regis-
