It's a Girl!
When CLNH's "future boss," Beau
Humble, was bern a little over a year
ago, everyone at the home was excited
and very proud. Now with all of us who
are doting grandparents and grest-
grandparents, this is to be expected.
One resident, however, practically out-
did all of us bragging about Beau...
Mr. Radney.
From the day that he learned that
Beau was a bey, he started looking for a
pair of striped overalls for him.
Everytime he found out that one of us
was going shopping, he asked us to look
for "that black-
headed bey" a pair of overalls. Inciden-
tly, Beau was born red-headed and has
changed to tow-headed.
Finally, last week Mr. Radney's
"black-headed bey" got his stripped
overalls and Mr. Radney is as proud of
them as if they and Beau were his very
OWTI.
When Beau was smaller and couldn't
run around and trip people up, Mr.
Radney often shared baby sitting
chores with Beau's great-grandmother,
Mrs. Ruth Sims. He made a good baby-
sitter, too. In addition to baby sitting,
Mr. Radney is also in charge of the
chickens and dog here at CLNH. He
must be doing a good Job 'cause we sure
have fat chickens and a happy dogl
We also want to tell you what a nice
thing the folks at the new Donut Palace
have been doing for us. Everyone loves
donuts, but our nutritionist rarely in-
cludes them on our monthly menus. The
people at the Donut Palace have been
donating their goodiosl Donuts, cin-
namon rolls, all that good stuff to eat
and the residents have surely been en-
joying them. If this keelm up, we may
have the fattest residents in the state of
Texas.
