Burial followed in Asbury Cemetery near Edom. and Alma Barnette Bodie. Mrs. Long died Sept. 7, 2006, in an Athens hospital. Mrs. Armstrong worked as a nurse for 15 years at Hillcrest She was born April 11, 1923, in Athens to the late C.W. and Medical Center. She has lived in this area since 1994 and was Lillie Cantrell Corley. She has resided in Athens the past 32 Baptist by faith, years and attended Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William She was preceded in death by her husband, ivan Long, in Harvey Armstrong, in 2001 ;and great-granddaughter, Melissa 1972; brothers, Buck Corley, Warren Corley, Morion Corley Ann Jackson, and sister, Elva Carroll. Survivors include daughter, Brenda Joyce and husband, Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, James and Larry Sexton, of Cayuga; son, Jerry, Don and wife, Brenda Frances Long, Greenville; daughters and son-in-law, Martha Kay Armstrong, of Waco; brothers, Orville Bodie of Austin, and Larry Sample, Malakoff, Jean Long, Athens; sister, Edith Louie Bodie of China Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Jeff Mayfield, Brownsboro; grandchildren, Melanie Stovall and David Sexton of West, Texas, 'Kenneth Daniel Sexton of husband, Lenny, Mike'Lowry and wife, Robin, Pat Lowry and Robinson, Texas, Tammy Jackson and Michael Jackson, both wife, Jamie, Karen Drennon, Heather Long; great-grandchil- ofWaco; seven great-grandchildren, dren, Bryan Stovall, Scott Stovall, Asha Drennon, Kelsi Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, Strebeck, Brady Lowry; numerous nephews and nieces. 2006, at the funeral home. Christopher Dennis Nixson Mrs. Clegg passed away Sept. 9, 2006, at Heritage Gardens Services for Christopher Dennis Nixson were held Sept. 9, in Carrollton, Texas. She was bum Aug. 22, 1919, in Linwood, 2006, at Providence Baptist Church of Tool with Bro. Leonard Kan. Piano, Monica Hubbard of Frisco, Stacy and husband, Thomas Dean, of Midwest, Okla.; and great-grandchildren, Elaine Peggy Stewart Hubbard, Jaiden Monk, Paige and Thomas Dean, Starlit White Peggy Stewart, 68, of Payne Springs, died Friday, Sept. 8, and Max Burke, currently serving in the U.S. Navy, David 2006, in Dallas. Lucille Banks Funeral services for Lucille Banks, 90, of Trinidad are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church of Trinidad with the Rev. Jimmy Steele officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinidad Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Cooper Funeral Home of Athens. She passed away Monday morning in Athens. Mrs. Banks was born Sept. 30, 1915, in Trinidad to her parents James and Lizzie Wade McDonald. She married Archie Banks Fellrath in 1933 and they resided in Trinidad. She married Freddie Banks in 1.957 and they made their home in Kerens until 1991. After the death of her husband, she returned to Trinidad where she was a member of the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary and the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Banks loved gardening and playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son, John R. Fellrath; step-daughters, Loretta Banks, Carolyn Minatree; a brother and three sisters. Survivors include children Mary "Beth" Fellrath Parker of Trinidad; Lynda Jean and Leo Stanton of Trinidad, Mary Lois Phillips of Wortham, Rosie and Andy Keathley of Wortham; sister-in-law, Darlene Fellrath of Houston; several grandchil- dren inchiding Roderick S. Parker and wife Leslie, Michael L. Parker and wit Susie, Dennis W. Parker, LarD" J. Parker and fianc(, Linda Henry, Diana Penzien and husband Timothy, Leo Dave Stanton Jr. and wit Linda, James E. Loven and Bro. Bailey officiating. Burial was at Trinidad Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home of Malakoff. Mr. Sharp died Sept. 11,2006, in Athens. He was born May 9, 1917, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Harry Isaac and Alwida Rice Sharp. Mr. Sharp worked for TPL for 25 years as a machinist. He was a Christian and served in the Army Air Corp. mother and father, Bessie Perry and James Garfield Wright; Survivors include husband, John E.
