In a candlelight ceremony solemized
at Pleasant Run Baptist church of Lan-
caster Saturday, Sept. 12, Lynda Jo
Turner became the bride of William A.
Ramsey. The Rev. Edgar Terrell of-
ficiated.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Joan
Turner and the late Harold G. Turner of
Lancaster and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond
G. Ramsey of Malakoff.
Virginia Ritz of Duncanville was her
aunt's maid of honor. Brenda Fluitt,
also of Duncanville, served as matron
of honor. Robert McClain of Athens
served as best man.
Bridesmaids included Karen Horn,
Sharon Horn, both of Lancaster an
dCheree Ramsey, sister of the groom of
Malakoff.
Groomsmen were Ronnie Hawkins
and the groom's brother, Samuel Ram-
sey, both of Trinidad, David Ramsey,
brother of the groom and Frank Turner
of Cedar Hill, brother of the bride.
Serving as flower girls were Glenda
Boone and Shirley Turner, nieces of the
bride. Ring bearers were Angela and
Danny Ramsey, nephew and niece of
the bride and groom. Rice bearers were
James Ritz, Jr., and Robert Turner,
nephews of the bride, Billie Turner,
niece of the bride, and Shonda Ramsey,
niece of the groom.
Ushers were Billy Watson of DeSoto
and Gary Attmo of Dallas, cousin of the
groom.
Grandparents of the couple in atten-
dance were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Huffman
of Dallas and Mrs. Sam Ramsey of
Duncanville.
