Friday, November 4, 2011 - The M.lakoffNews - Page 7A Obituaries ........................................... Jimmie L. "Jim" Speake Jimmie L. "Jim" Speake, 79, died Saturday, Oct. I, 2011 in an Abilene Hospital. Funeral services were held on Tuesday; Oct. 4. 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Melton- Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with" Rev_ Rex Boggs officiating. Interment tbllowed in the Breckenridge Cemetery. A~angements were under the direction of M.elton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Mr. Speake was born on Oct. 5. 1931 in Kerens, Yexas to James O. Speake and Lula Mac Johnson Speake. He married Juanita Cross in April of 1960 and she weceded him in death in 1994. Later he married Pat Grissom on June 1.1996 in Breckcnridge. Mr. Speake was a veteran of both the United States Air Force and Army, and was the owner and operator of a trucking company. Mr. Speake is sinrived by his wife, Pat Speake of Breckenridge; daughter, Danielle Speake of Breeken- ridge; son. Jimm5 D. Speake of Breckenridge: step- sons. Wade Grissom of Graham and Breu Grissom of Breckenridge; brother, Johnny Speake of Tyler; grand- daughter, Jessica Ram.on of Del Rio: great-granddaugh- ter. The students won candy, pickles and toys by playing the football throw, m{ni golf, fishing, bean bag toss and spinning the pickle wheel. They dressed up in their favorite costumes.
