The intermittent rain failed to dampen spirits as veterans from each branch of military service rose to be recognized while the band played. The Cardettes danced and high-kicked for the residents who asembled under the covered entrance. The church, along with additional anonymous donors, sup- plied 70 hygiene kits to student services to use for homeless students and at-risk youth. "If any other churches or orga- nization would like to help our students, we would encourage them to adopt a student as a Christmas Angel," AISD Parent Liaison Yadira Chairez said.
