The dog, a small bulldog, was the family pet which suddenly went mad and jumped upon the bed to badly mangle the little girl's face as she lay asleep. The little girl and other mem- bers of the Morrison family have been taking the rabies treatment .dnce dog's condition was as- It was first thought :hat the child would recover, all the injuries caused by the dog's teeth were healing, but early this week she went into convulsions, and it was stated de- finitely that she had developed hydrophobia. Purchases Lum- ber Yard Building In a recent business deal, the Royall Chevrolet Company here became the owners of the Hawn Lumber Company property locat- ed on East Mitcham Street. Fol- lowing the closing of the deal, the new owners proceeded im- mediately to convert the building into a modern garage and auto- mobile sales room. The stalls, formerly used far the stacking of lumber, have all been torn away, a new'double door entrance has been cut into the west wall and l additional windows have beeni nstalled in that portion of theI building to be used for the repair and service department. A floor has also been built covering the entire building.
