SA--The Mxlakoff News, Thursday, Dec. 31, 1981 By Mrs. W.C. Fleming, Jr. Christmas Eve communion service was held at the United Methodist Church Thursday, Dec. 24, 7 p.m. with a large crowd present. Greetings were from the minister, Bro. Tim Edwards. A hymn, "Silent Night" was followed by prayer. The Old Testament lesson was from Isaiah and was read by Mellssa Edwards, an act of praise A song, "Away in a Manger" followed. The gospel lesson, Luke 2:1-20, was read by Ryan Renteria, Chad Roun- savall and Ricky Stanfield. The sermon was "God with Us." The offering was followed with a responsive reading by the minister and the people and "The Lord's l rayer." Next was the breaking of bread and taking of the cup. "Joy to the World" preceded the benediction by the minister. Barry Bryson of Houston visited with his parents, the O.S. Brysons. Bama Miller visited in Corsicana Christmas with Jack Kirkland and during their school holidays. The Bobby Rounsavall family was in Dallas for a visit with Bobby's mother, Mrs. Rounsavall, and other relatives. Bill, Bena, Kaylea and Bill Mark Miller of Cleburne and Bob, Sue, Kristl, Blake and Matt Miller of Irving were here for Christmas with Bill and Jolea Miller. Jessie Neff Riengburg returned home on Sunday to Japan after visiting with her mother, Ruby Taaffe, and Richard and Bfflie Taaffe. Mrs. Nena Rhodes Wright has returned home from Memorial Hospital in Athens aRer receiving a fall on her back steps that broke her right arm and crushed her elbow. She also had five stitches taken in the back of her head. She would like to thank her friends who have brought food by. Visiting with parents, the B.G.
